The room was then treated with 12 SA600/150 and 12 SA600/75 broadband panels. No bass trapping was installed. The panels were very effective reducing reverb times down to 125Hz but had little impact below 125Hz (See below graph). In fact, the lower frequency reverb times became longer. Bass trapping is an integral component of an acoustic room treatment in order to create a balanced listening environment.
